As California begins to electrify, homeowners will each have a unique path to electrification. For some, this means upgrading one appliance at a time; for others, it means replacing them all at once and offsetting with on-site solar. Regardless of the timeline, there are some important planning steps that must take place, as well as a continual vision for optimizing efficiency.

During this webinar, EMH will present a case study of a customer’s electrification journey. You’ll hear directly from the customer, who will share why they went gas-free, what their experience was like, and what bumps in the road were faced on this adventure.

Learning Objectives

  • What is the first step in the Electrification “Order of Operations?”
  • Name three capabilities a customer should look for in their Electrification Partner
  • Explain EMH’s reasoning behind their water heating approach for this customer
  • Why was it important to have the attic ductwork buried?
