Event Description
The California Green Building Standards, or CALGreen (Title 24, Part 11), is a wide-ranging code covering aspects of site design, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, water efficiency, indoor air quality, embodied carbon and much more. In this course, we’ll focus on the non-residential sections of the code, providing examples of implementation and highlighting 2025 changes throughout.
Learning Objectives
- Understand CAL Green compliance process for nonresidential projects, highlighting changes in the 2025 code.
- Become familiar with CAL Green mandatory measures and green building benefits of each, including new embodied carbon triggers and electric vehicle charging requirements
- Understand Tier 1 and Tier 2 options.
- Learn tools and best practices for submitting and reviewing compliance documentation.
