Home Energy Savings Toolkit
Our Home Energy Savings Toolkit gives you the tools you need for basic upgrades to your home, along with easy-to-follow instructions. The tools and free supplies in the kit give you everything you need to complete DIY projects throughout your home.
When you’re finished, return your kit to your local library and enjoy your new and improved home!
You can review the DIY Home Energy Savings instruction guidebook anytime:
Induction Cooktop Kits
Santa Barbara and Ventura Libraries also have induction cooktop kits available to borrow (cooktops are also available in San Luis Obispo Libraries, but not via 3C-REN). Cooktop kits include a portable cooktop and pan for cooking, simple instructions, and a magnet to test your cookware for induction compatibility.
Induction cooktops are a powerful way to reduce your home emissions and improve indoor air quality. They’re safer since there’s no open flame and because heat quickly dissipates once you remove the pan from the cooktop surface. Plus no more burning fossil fuels in your kitchen!
