Description: We’ll go through the 2019 CALGreen (Title 24, Part 11) requirements for residential and nonresidential projects and discuss documentation submission and compliance review. This course is beneficial for developing a green building project, verifying a project as developer/builder, plan checker, or field inspector to ensure a complying and well-built building.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand CalGreen measures, requirements, and the compliance process for both residential and nonresidential projects.
• Understand CalGreen voluntary measures and the differences between Tier 1 and Tier 2 options.
• Understand best practices for submitting and reviewing compliance documentation including the forms and common snags.
• Understand major updates in the 2019 CalGreen (Title 24, Part 11) code.
