DESCRIPTION:3C-REN and the Ventura County Library have partnered to bring you the DIY Home Energy Savings Toolkit. The toolkit includes tools\, equipment and a guide to help you save energy and increase the comfort of your home. \nThe kit has free items for you to keep like LED light bulbs\, a showerhead\, water-saving faucet aerators\, electric outlet gaskets\, weatherstripping\, and water leak detection dye tablets; and tools you’ll return like an infrared laser thermometer and a Kill-A-Watt meter. \nJoin the event at Avenue Library on October 28th from 3:30 – 4:15 pm for an interactive demonstration of the kit\, to ask your questions to a home energy expert\, and to learn about general home performance principles and other sustainability programs in our area. \nView PDF Event Flyer \nInstructors: \n\nJavier Saucedo\, VCREA
